Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Product and use

It is an underwater propulsion device that pulls you through the water, ideal for diving, snorkelling, pool use or recreation. You hold it with your hands and it moves forward thanks to its electric motor.

It depends on the model. Each product states its maximum depth in the technical specifications. Never exceed the depth recommended by the manufacturer.

They vary depending on the model. Each product page shows the approximate battery life (minutes of use) and the maximum speed. These are indicative values that depend on weight, currents and water conditions.

Yes. After using it in salt or chlorinated water, always rinse it with fresh water and dry it before storing it, to extend its lifespan. If you have used it in the sea, an effective trick is to submerge it in fresh water for a few minutes and run the propellers for a few seconds to flush out salt and sand from the inside.

Sea scooters have built-in safety systems: when you release the controls, the motor stops automatically. Models with positive buoyancy float up to the surface on their own, where you can easily retrieve them. We recommend always using the safety leash included.

Most models include a mount compatible with GoPro and any camera using the same attachment system. The camera is not included and must be purchased separately. Check each product page to confirm whether it comes with a mount.

It depends on the model: check the recommended minimum age on each product page. In all cases, minors must always use them under adult supervision.

Batteries

Yes. All sea scooters include their battery, charger and the basic accessories listed on the product page. Some models come with a second battery to double the running time.

Lithium batteries are subject to IATA regulations and to each airline's own rules. As a general rule, batteries up to 100 Wh are accepted in carry-on luggage without authorisation; between 100 and 160 Wh they require prior approval from the airline; and above 160 Wh they are not allowed on commercial passenger flights. Check the capacity (Wh) of your model's battery in the technical specifications, always transport it removed from the scooter, and check with your airline before flying.

Charge it with the original charger, do not leave it fully discharged for long periods, and store it in a dry place at a moderate temperature, outside the scooter. If you are not going to use the equipment for a long time, recharge it at least once every three months. The battery is a consumable component and its capacity decreases over time.

Orders and payments

Payments are processed securely through Stripe with a credit or debit card. We do not store your card details.

Yes. The website uses an encrypted connection (SSL/TLS) and payments are handled through a certified payment gateway.

Yes. All orders include an invoice. If you are buying on behalf of a company, provide your tax details (company name, tax ID and address) during checkout. For intra-Community orders with a valid VAT number (VIES) or multi-unit orders, write to us at info@seascooters.com before purchasing and we will prepare a quote with the appropriate tax configuration.

If your order has not yet been shipped, write to us as soon as possible at info@seascooters.com and we will cancel it at no cost. If it has already left the warehouse, you will need to follow the returns process once you receive it.

Shipping

We ship worldwide. Some products with lithium batteries may be subject to restrictions or special delivery times depending on the destination. If your country does not appear at checkout, write to us and we will confirm the shipping options.

  • Mainland Spain: 48 working hours.
  • Balearic Islands: 48 to 72 working hours.
  • Canary Islands: 3 to 5 working days (subject to customs procedures).
  • European Union (EU): 2 to 4 working days.
  • Rest of the world: 4 to 7 working days (depending on the country and customs handling).

For shipments outside the European Union, import duties and taxes of the destination country may apply, and they are payable by the recipient.

When your order is dispatched, you will receive an email with the tracking number so you can check the shipment status at any time. If you cannot find it, write to us at info@seascooters.com with your order number.

Returns and warranty

You have 14 calendar days from receipt to withdraw from the purchase. The product must be complete, in its original packaging and unused beyond basic inspection: returns of products that have been used in the water are not accepted.

If you decide to return a product because you have changed your mind (right of withdrawal), the return shipping costs are borne by the customer. If the product arrived faulty or there was an error on our part, the return is 100% free.

Once the product has been received and inspected, we will process the refund using the same payment method you used for the purchase. Your bank may take 2 to 7 days to process it.

New products come with a 3-year legal warranty against manufacturing defects, under the terms described in the Warranty section. Some manufacturers also offer their own commercial warranties, which are added to the legal warranty and never reduce it.

Write to us at info@seascooters.com with your order number, a description of the problem and, if possible, photos or a video. We handle the claim with the manufacturer and tell you the steps to follow: you do not need to contact the manufacturer directly.

Yes. We have access to original spare parts (batteries, propellers, chargers and other components) and we manage repairs through the official technical service. Write to us at info@seascooters.com stating your model and we will confirm availability and lead times. Do not dismantle the product yourself: you could void the warranty.
